Glamorous Engagement Photoshoot in London with Anita & Taber
Anita and Taber had just got engaged when they contacted me to do their engagement photoshoot in London.
Both from the USA, at the time they’ve been living in a long distance relationship with Anita living in London and Taber in Germany. Although that was challenging, they managed to make it work and decided to take the next step, committing to each other for a lifetime of love and adventure.
With ancestors from Sierra Leone, Anita and Taber had already celebrated their engagement in a very traditional and festive way but they wanted to honor both backgrounds and that’s what led to this styled engagement shoot.
Anita and Taber had a very specific idea of what they were looking for. They envisioned their engagement photoshoot indoors, in a palace-like room with chandeliers all over the floor and lighten up candles to create an atmosphere. Something that would look almost presidential but filled with romance and intimacy. Sophisticated.
And so we planned. Since I was planning this London styled shoot from Lisbon, Portugal, there were some extra challenges along the way but together with Anita and Taber we managed to cover every single detail of this dreamy day.
In the end Anita and Taber had their dream engagement photoshoot as they always imagined and even though the photographs came out great, it was Anita and Taber’s chemistry that most impacted me.
And this was only the beginning of Anita and Taber’s story.
