Jo and Valeriia traveled to Portugal to celebrate their first year together and that’s when Jo thought:

“wait a minute, I could plan a surprise for Valeriia in order to mark such a special moment…”

And so he started to think about what he could do until he realized that a private and romantic photoshoot could be just it!

Initially, the picnic was not in Jo’s plans but as soon as he told me this would be a romantic surprise to celebrate their first year together (and the fact that they were about to move in together!) no way I would leave things just like that and so I shared my idea with him.

Fortunately Jo loved the suggestion and soon I was running to the supermarket in order to make that happen.

Based on their personal taste I planned everything. I already had the perfect location in mind, private, in the middle of the nature, intimate and, most importantly, extremely romantic. I wanted to gift them a cake they could eat too and thankfully I knew the perfect person to help me with this.

The cake was a surprise for both of them as I thought it would be a shame if Valeriia was the only one being spoiled and surprised on such a special day :)

With the help of my boyfriend and business partner we sat everything up: a carpet, lights, fruit, a custom made cake, a really good portuguese sparkling wine and even cute heart-shaped balloons.

Oh, what a special time these two had. And I’m so fortunate for being there to testify their love in the first person.
