surprise wedding proposal in Sintra

Rhizlane & Tarek

Both from Marocco, Tarek and Rhizlane have been living apart for most of their relationship. You see, Tarek had to go to Paris to study while Rhizlane had to stay in Morocco and so they have been meeting each other in different European locations for the majority of their relationship.

Although physically distant, their love was always very present and that’s why Tarek was ready to propose to Rhizlane once they met each other again, this time in Lisbon.

With that in mind, he wanted everything to be handled by someone else as his nerves wouldn’t allow him to think about every little detail and that’s when he reached out and asked for my help.

Since they are both very introvert and shy people, I suggested a remote, cosy and private location in the woods. To make it even more romantic, we decided to include a custom picnic with all Rhizlane favorite flavors and some traditional portuguese treats.

Tarek and I agreed in a secret sign that he would do once he was ready to pop the question so I could distract Rhizlane for a second in order for him to prepare and then, magic happened.

Sweet Rhizlane was not expecting that at all and was so emotional and happy she even forgot to say “yes” for a moment.

Afterwards we wend on a romantic walk through the woods to the best place to watch the sunset (the last sunset of Europe, actually) and inside their love bubble they celebrate their first couple of hours as future Mr&Mrs.
